Pat Travers was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Soon after picking up the guitar at age 12, he saw Jimi Hendrix perform in Ottawa. Travers began playing in bands early in his teens; his first bands were the Music Machine (not to be confused with the Californian psychedelic/garage band of the same name), Red Hot, and Merge, which played in clubs in the Quebec area.
While performing with Merge, he was noticed by rock artist Ronnie Hawkins, who invited Travers to perform with him. In his early twenties Travers moved to London and signed a recording contract with the Polydor label. His self-titled debut album was released in 1976, and featured bassist Peter “Mars” Cowling, who would become a mainstay in Travers’ band for several years. An appearance on the German TV show Rockpalast in November 1976 was later released on DVD under the title Hooked on Music. This performance showcases an early version of Travers’ band featuring Cowling and drummer.
During 1977, Travers added a second guitarist to his band, changed drummers twice including using Clive Edwards, and by the time Heat in the Street was released in 1978 had put together the Pat Travers Band. This grouping featured Travers on vocals and guitar, Pat Thrall on guitar, Cowling on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums and percussion. The band toured heavily, also supporting Rush on their Drive til You Die tour in support of A Farewell to Kings.
The guitar Travers most often appeared with on stage and on album covers in the band’s early years was a 1964/65 model double cutaway, double humbucker pickup Gibson Melody Maker.
The Pat Travers Band (PTB) currently consists of Pat Travers (guitars, vocals, keyboards), drummer Alex Petrosky and David Pastorius (bass/vocals) who have been together for the last several years, and recorded two studio albums together. More…
Taz Taylor
Taz Taylor was exposed at a very early age to the golden era of Rock Guitar playing. Michael Schenker in UFO and then in his own band MSG, Gary Moore in his late-70s/early-80s heyday, Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee and of course the early Van Halen albums, all left an indelible mark on the musical psyche of Taz.
The Lowdown Drifters are a hard living, hard loving and hard leaving group of Ft. Worth based musicians blending country, rock and Americana into a sound of their own; the epitome of a rock band with a fiddle problem. With heartfelt and sincere melodies crafted by their accurately named frontman Big John Cannon, the Drifters live show is a high energy experience, highlighting their songs that capture the highs and lows of the human experience. The Drifters have been propelled to over 500,000 monthly listeners and 50 million total streams by their wildly successful album Last Call for Dreamers which has led them to share the stage with artists including Randy Rogers, Koe Wetzel, LeAnn Rimes and Zach Bryan. The Lowdown Drifters look forward to a packed 2024 with several singles currently in production and a full album to follow with Grammy Award nominated producer Wes Sharon (Turnpike Troubadours, American Aquarium, John Fulbright) and Malcolm Springer (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) as well as a national supporting tour to follow.
Taylor Hunnicutt
Taylor Hunnicutt makes old-school southern music for the modern world. She’s a proud daughter of Alabama, writing songs that nod to the state’s tradition of country story telling, rock’n’roll rebellion, and guitar-driven grit. Sharpened by a touring schedule that’s kept her on the road for roughly 200 days a year, she makes her full-length debut with Alabama Sound —an album that unfolds like a love letter to the American South, written by a road warrior who’s spent most of the decade far away from home.” It’s a little country, a little singer/songwriter, a little Americana, and a lot of soulful southern rock,” says Hunnicutt, an opera-trained vocalist who began writing songs after dropping out of music school, landing a waitressing job at a blues juke joint, and sitting in with the bands that came through town. She’s no longer the guest artist, though — she’s the main act, and Alabama Sound showcases her high-energy, hellraising brand of southern stomp, country-rock twang, and amplified attitude.

Tribute to Chrissie Hynde & The Pretenders – The Pretenderz
The ultimate tribute to The Pretenders.
Janae is The Pretenderz’ own “Chrissie Hynde.” Her career spans country (at the Grand Ole Opry) to rock to pop to punk. A talented songwriter, you can hear her on ‘Good As Gone’, an album of her original tunes (plus one written for her by legend Jack Tempchin) — on Apple Music, Spotify, etc.
Ed’s unmistakably powerful pumping bass is the pulsing heartbeat of the band — that makes everyone want to get up and dance! Ed is a multi-instrumentalist & has been playing bass for longer than he can remember! He especially loves playing the infectious bass lines that define The Pretenders sound.
John’s searing guitar solos put The Pretenderz in a league of their own — this is much more than a note-for-note tribute band. John was born in London England & now calls SoCal home. Growing up in a musical household, he played his first paid show at the tender age of 17. John has had the privilege travelling the world, playing guitar with some of the biggest names of the 80s & 90s.
Otherwise known as Kon, Konstantin’s driving drums are a constant reminder that The Pretenderz tribute band is here to rock out! Konstantin began his music career with the teen sensation group, Indigo in Los Angeles in the late 1980’s. He has recorded albums of various genres throughout his career & has played at venues all over California and beyond.

Album release show for “Avalanche”, Gary Hoey’s new record out this May on Wazoo Music Group.
Gary Hoey – Album Release
Rock & blues guitar legend Gary Hoey Releases his first album in 6 years. “Avalanche” on Wazoo Music Group (Hoey’s own label) “Avalanche” features special guest Lita Ford on vocals on “You Know I Would” and Gary’s son, Ian Hoey, is featured on “Dear Mama” a tribute to Gary’s mother and “Summer’s Here”. Gary says, “Avalanche is a return to my rock roots. It feels great to turn up the volume and have some fun. This album was a therapeutic album for me. I named the album Avalanche because sometimes life feels like one thing after another.
Hoey called on his old friends to help him record, Matt Scurfiled on drums, AJ Pappas on bass, Ian Hoey on guitar, his niece Taylor on background vocals. Hoey can’t wait to hit the road on his Avalanche Tour 2024. “Playing live is the best feeling, I love to travel and see the fans after the show. And having my son Ian playing guitar by my side is a dream come true. We will be playing the new and the old classics “Hocus Pocus”, Low Rider”and more.
Hoey’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne showed up in Boston looking for a guitarist. Osborne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition. Ozzy suggested that Gary move to LA. He took Ozzy’s advice and with $17,000 he saved from teaching Hoey loaded the U-Haul and drove across country to LA. In 1992 Hoey released “Heavy Bones” on Waner Bros. A short lived band.
1993 Hoey released “Animal Instinct” which included a cover of the Focus hit, “Hocus Pocus”. It rocketed into the Billboard Top 5, outpacing all other singles as the most frequently played rock song of the year, it’s no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time.
1994 Hoey scored the successful “Endless Summer II” soundtrack and had another radio hit with War’s “Low Rider.” Other film clients have included Walt Disney films, ESPN, New Line Cinema, scoring the music to “California Screaming” (Disney Roller Coaster), “Office Space,” “Deck the Halls” (Danny Devito), and Beethoven III.
In 2012 Hoey produced and co-wrote The Queen Of Metal Lita Ford’s latest release “Living Like Runaway” 2025 will see a new Lita album produced and co-written by Hoey.
Stone Horse
Stone Horse is a Southern California based rock n roll outfit reminiscent of the 1970’s era festival bands. Fronted by songstress Dani Spade a’ la Joplin-Tyler, the live connection is what it’s all about.
It started in the summer of 2009, when La Jolla High Alumni, Dani Spade and Carlos Rodriguez put their musical heads together and wrote songs reminiscent of their early 70’s British and American rock influences. A catchy, driving 10-song album entitled “GRIT” ensued and was nominated “Best Rock Album” in 2014 by The San Diego Music Awards. Their southern rocker ballad “Remember When” received a nomination for “Best Rock Song” in 2015 by The Indie Music Channel.
Not unlike the neighborhoods that make up their city, the band’s second full-length studio release, “Nobody Rides For Free”, became a musical melting pot blending Blues, Rock, and even a bit o’ Country twang. However, doing what they do best at the end of the day, the result was good old rock ‘n’ roll. Their first single “Look What I’ve Done” was released as a music video in April 2016 and the album followed shortly in the fall.
Their next music video “Time To Say Goodbye” shot in the spring of 2017 and written by band member Jim Nau, won “Best Americana Song” by The Indie Music Channel Radio Awards, and was nominated “Best Americana video under $5000” at The 2018 Indie Music Channel Awards.
While their willingness to jam all night was making them a staple at the local bars, fairs and festivals around Southern California, the Spade/Rodriguez duo co-wrote songs with guitarist and producer Jim Nau for a new album entitled “Gotta Get Back” released in November 2018. Receiving a nomination for “Best Rock Album” of the year for 2018 by The San Diego Music Awards, “Gotta Get Back” delivers all those elements of what people define as rock ‘n’ roll…gospel, rock, country and blues.
The year 2020 provided the much needed time to square away a new bass player and write their latest album “Stone Horse IV” which was released in the summer of 2021 on vinyl, and two new music videos – “Losing My Way” which won best Special video at The 2021 Indie Music Channel Awards and “The Fastest Jack” followed. Their song “California Rain” also took home Best Rock Song at the Indie Music Channel Awards.
2024 brought the release of High Places, a 5 song EP whose song Cherry Devout won best rock producer and was played on internet radio station in Munich, Germany.
Under the reins of Dani Spade, Stone Horse continues to broaden their sound while still remaining unique to their own unformulaic brand of rock ‘n’ roll.
A country band rooted in San Diego, California, Westwinders blend the sounds of Americana, Bakersfield honky-tonk, old time, and roots rock music. Formed by Erik Olson, Mitchel Harden, and Nick Steckel, the band blends soulful storytelling with raw, authentic instrumentation, creating a sound that is both as fresh as it is timeless.
Westwinder’s music reflects the life experiences of it’s members, who are not only talented musicians but also hard working tradesmen; songwriter, guitarist, and mandolinist Erik Olson currently serves as a Fire Engineer/ Paramedic and carpenter. Hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, bassist Mitch Harden is a highly skilled craftsmen and wood worker. Steel guitarist Nick Steckel and Erik have been friends since junior high school and their musical connection is evident and nostalgic, having spent their formative years in various rock, punk, and country outfits.
Westwinders create a sound that’s both familiar and entirely their own. Their live shows are a testament to their craftsmanship, whether performing in intimate venues or larger festivals. Catch them live as soon as you get the chance.

Rhett Miller is the lead singer and primary songwriter of the alternative country rock band Old 97’s, which he co-founded in 1993. He is also a solo musician and has released several albums, showcasing his talents in songwriting and performance.
SNI has been referred to as the most authentic sounding tribute to Fleetwood Mac to date! The haunting vocals and performance of Diana Grace are “Spot On” as Stevie Nicks from the early years of the 1970’s, and Monty Sommer recreates Lindsey Buckingham’s vocals and unique and intricate guitar work to sheer perfection! World Class musicianship combined with the chemistry and performance of all five band members is pure magic and all with no tracks! Laurie Richardson captures the essence of Christine McVie in voice, as well as on keyboards. The band showcases the Best of Fleetwood Mac plus specially selected songs from Stevie Nicks’ solo career. Dave Christensen is superb as Mick Fleetwood on drums and style, and Jeff Bennett on bass rounds out the group with his solid rock groove as John McVie! The shows are exciting as well as intimate, as they connect with the audience and engage with them in what can only be described as a magical shared musical experience!
