Jason Boland & The Stragglers

Jason Boland & The Stragglers

For the past 20 years, Jason Boland & the Stragglers have dazzled audiences all over as one of the leading ambassadors of the Oklahoma and Texas music movement. Millions of fans cheering him on, over 500,000 records sold independently and 10 albums later, Boland is a career musician whose legacy continues to grow. From his early days touring in cramped vans and playing in front of tiny bar crowds to the packed venues he performs in today, Boland’s uncompromising approach has grown his profile dramatically, especially in the past handful of years. Add to that the legions of musicians who are influenced by Boland, and his impact on the scene is undeniable.

Prior to the pandemic, Boland was hard at work on his most ambitious project yet. The groundwork he laid in 2019 saw the singer-songwriter roll through songs that would be a bold step forward. Strumming through the material with the Stragglers at a rehearsal in Colorado, Boland knew he had something big. However, that session took place a day before the lockdown and put the kibosh on the project for a year.

In early 2021, the time felt right to get the project rolling again. At a time when pandemic albums are popping up left and right, Boland zigged when everyone else zagged. Titled The Light Saw Me, the acclaimed singer-songwriter decided to go deeper than he’s ever gone before to create a multi-layered sci-fi concept album. Once again teaming up with his frequent co-conspirator, Grammy-winning producer Shooter Jennings, Boland hunkered down in a Los Angeles-area studio to bring The Light Saw Me to life.

Kaitlin Butts

Way out on the Western plains, you can see storms make their way across the horizon. Lightning strikes brighten darkened masses of fearsome clouds as they roll on down the line. They sway and swirl giving the promise of rain. They thunder and clap with threats of hail or worse.

Kaitlin Butts is a thunderstorm. A tornado warning. The siren wail of a small town’s caution system still in use. Behind her flowing locks of auburn hair, Oklahoma twang, and wry grin, grows a demanding voice and equally devastating storyteller. This high-rising Oklahoma native is steadily blooming into a quick-witted writer who has the ability to pick the right details to make a song and story believable and real.

She shifts between infectious Cosmic Cowgirl flare with lush desert-swept pastels, desired & heartfelt tearjerkers, and hard-bitten & calloused murder ballads. Through them all, she exhibits a knack for character and a nose for narrative. They come in like a summer shower patting down the dust. Other times, Butts is torrential downpour wreaking havoc.

The Highwayman Show

The Highwayman Show

The Highwayman Show is a tribute to the timeless music of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson.

Tony Suraci, The Highwayman, is an immensely gifted vocalist who channels the spirits and voices of the original Highwaymen in a breathtaking 2 hour performance. Prepare to be amazed how one man can emulate all four of Outlaw Country’s favorite musical icons. Critics have said, “Tony is nothing short of amazing. This show feels like a continuous 2 hour encore!”. The 10 piece All Star band captures the essence of the Outlaw Country movement made famous by the original Highwaymen. Songs like Me and Bobby McGee, On The Road Again, Good Ole Boys and Folsom Prison Blues are just a few of the songs that make this show a wildly entertaining experience.

Payton Howie

With backwoods bathed vocals and bona fide southern swagger, Payton Howie is leading the next generation of redneck women. Branded as the ultimate ‘All American Girl’ by Scenes Media, Howie unapologetically embodies the untamed tradition that country music was built on, and she’s hellbent on bringing her own grit to the honky tonk. Not many can say they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Carrie Underwood, and Howie is one of even fewer who can say they were handpicked to do so at the age of 5; while other kids were learning how to ride a bike, she was teaching people to expect the unexpected whenever they hear the name Payton Howie. Her most recent single “Freedom” was featured on several of Spotify’s sought after editorial playlists, and the accompanying music video bleeds red, white and blue. On the verge of releasing her debut EP, Payton Howie is prepared to scorch country music with a brand that’s hers alone.

The Black Crowes Revival

The Black Crowes Revival

THE BLACK CROWES stormed onto the music scene in 1990 and revived the art of rock and roll perfected in the 70’s by acts like The Rolling Stones, The Faces, and Humble Pie. Led by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, they toured relentlessly and gained a very dedicated following. After selling over 35 million albums and playing to a legion of diehard fans, they ultimately disbanded in 2015. 2019 saw the Robinson brothers reunite with a new backing band and an upcoming world tour starting summer 2021.

THE BLACK CROWES REVIVAL formed with the vision of bringing a vintage 90’s era Black Crowes concert experience to both their devoted fans, and to those never lucky enough to see them perform. We are veteran musicians that have performed in various bands in the San Diego and Los Angeles music scene, and are committed to providing a show worthy of the Black Crowes legacy as “the world’s most rock’n’roll, rock’n’roll band”. We pay strict attention to our gear (using vintage guitars and amps), our sound, our vibe, and our performance, in order to accurately reproduce the Crowes experience. We cover the highlights of the Crowes catalog and deep cuts, too. Our song list continues to grow. We provide a full concert experience to excite and satisfy both casual listeners and diehard Black Crowes fans alike.

Aerosmÿthe is a tribute to Aerosmith, the most classic of all American rock bands. We provide live entertainment to audiences throughout Southern California at various venues, from large to small. We pride ourselves on producing an authentic Aerosmith sound and projecting the feel and excitement of the original music.

OCEANS is a local San Diego band that has strived to recreate the passion and sound that made Pearl Jam one of the most iconic bands of our time. Our goal is to enhance and introduce the power that is Pearl Jam. Whether or not the crowd consists of ravid fans or first time listeners, everyone will feel “Alive” at the end of the show!
