Indigenous

Born and raised on the Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, Indigenous front man Mato Nanji (Ma-TOE NON-gee) dedicates his latest release Time Is Coming (on Blues Bureau International) to the indigenous youth and all young people on the indigenous reservations.

Mato Nanji’s father, the late Greg Zephier, Sr., was a well-known and highly respected spiritual advisor and spokesperson for the International Indian Treaty Council. In addition to this leadership role, he was an accomplished musician and a member of the musical group, The Vanishing Americans. Formed by Greg and his brothers in the ‘60’s, The Vanishing Americans toured nationally and shared bills with such legends as Bonnie Raitt. Besides being heavily influenced by the music his father and uncles were making, Mato was exposed to Greg’s vast collection of blues records by legendary artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King. Consequently, Mato embraced and began utilizing his own musical talent at a young age. With the experience, love and wisdom of their father to guide them, Mato, his brother, sister and cousin formed the band Indigenous while in their late teens.

Stone Horse

Stone Horse is a Southern California based rock n roll outfit reminiscent of the 1970’s era festival bands. Fronted by songstress Dani Spade a’ la Joplin-Tyler, the live connection is what it’s all about.

The year 2020 provided the much needed time to square away a new bass player and write their latest album “Stone Horse IV” which was released in the summer of 2021 on vinyl, and two new music videos – “Losing My Way” which won best Special video at The 2021 Indie Music Channel Awards and “The Fastest Jack” followed. Their song “California Rain” also took home Best Rock Song at the Indie Music Channel Awards.

Under the reins of Dani Spade, Stone Horse continues to broaden their sound after ramblin’, timeless acts such as The Allman Brothers Band, The Stone Poneys, Bad Co and Aerosmith while still remaining unique to their own unformulaic brand of rock ‘n’ roll.

Stone Horse consists of Dani Spade-lead vocals and harmonica, Neil Hedegard- guitar, Andrew Fakhouri-guitar, Johnny Rhinestone-bass , John Flood-drums.

Whitey Morgan

In a career spanning 15 years, Morgan has released five studio albums and a live recording from his hometown of Flint, Michigan. Additionally, he has toured relentlessly averaging over 125 shows annually. Rolling Stone has described him as a “Waylon Jennings acolyte.. modern day outlaw [with a] hard hitting blue-collar brand of music” while NPR Music hailed, “Staying close to the sound and subject matter of classic outlaw artists like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and David Allan Coe, Morgan is poised to lead this hand-worn brand of country to the next generation.” His most recent LP, Sonic Ranch (2015), was released to critical acclaim and praised by Detroit Free Press as, “a bold well-crafted album that doesn’t forsake the gritty undercurrent running through Morgan’s stuff.”

Ted Russell Kamp

Ted Russell Kamp is an LA-based singer/songwriter, producer and Grammy winning bass player.

Ted writes, records and travels the world performing his own country / roots / Americana music from his eleven critically-acclaimed albums. Ted also plays live, records sessions, and collaborates on songs with A-list songwriters and musicians in L.A., Nashville, Austin and around the world. Ted often works out of his home studio — The Den — and has produced several well-received albums for fellow artists there. Ted has also had the honor of being a friend, collaborator and member of Shooter Jennings’ band for most of the last 15 years. Ted also played on the 2020 Grammy winning Country Album of the Year, Tanya Tucker’s While I’m Living.

Ted is well known for his ability to step into bands and rock all genres of music — the decades he spent holding down the bottom end for bands as diverse as Shooter, Jessi Colter, Whitey Morgan, Wilson Phillips and others have made sure Ted had the chops for anything from major festivals to David Letterman appearances and the Sirius XM Outlaw Country Cruise.

Mark Daly

Mark Daly’s artistic chops have never been up for debate. From performing at the MTV EMA Awards with The Voodoos, to his work with Geoff Tate-led supergroup, Operation: Mindcrime; his career has been as varied as it has been exhilarating.

But it is Mark’s prolificity as a solo artist that best demonstrates just exactly what the rock genre has on its books. Beginning with 2016’s The Heart’s Reminder (no. 2 on the Irish Downloads Chart) right up to his debut album, When the Stars Align; the thread running through Mark’s music is an eagerness to connect, and an intelligence for doing just that.

Mark’s songs are powerful markers of his experiences, ranging from intimate narratives of family and heartbreak, to commentaries on broader issues (his single, Your World, was released in aid of Autism Awareness Month in 2017). Such depth comes from a performer with an ability to combine an arresting rock voice with a social awa
