“Puerto Rico Llego” returns for its 3rd Annual South Bay Salsa Festival at the beatuful J Street Marina, located at 550 Marina Parkway, Chula Vista CA 91910 at the corner of Quay Street and G street. Come join us to celebrate Latin cuisines, cultural art activities, non-stop Salsa dancing, and festive Latin sounds of Puerto Rico. 21 and up with valid ID required. - Hosted by famous TV Anchor Llarisa Abreu from San Diego’s Telemundo 20 – NBC 7, along with Radio Host Chris Springer from KSDS Jazz 88.3FMs “Friday Night Latin Mix”.
- Special performance by Spanish Harlem Orchestra, celebrating 15 years on tour and their latest studio hit “Anniversary”.
- A tribute to Ray Barretto featuring L.A.’s hottest Salsa bands, Bobby Escoto’s “Conjunto Afro-Son”, Adalberto Santiago, John “Dandy” Rodriguez, Artie Webb and Christian Pepin.
- A performance by San Diego’s very own Chévere All-Stars playing the music of Sonora Ponceña.
- Salsa Mix from L.A.s DJ Jojo and San Diego’s famous DJ Mambo throughout the day
- Dance performances by Melomano Entertainment specializing in Salsa-Bachata classes in San Diego and abroad.
- Latin American cuisine, spirit cocktails, and beer bars throughout venue. Reserved VIP Seating in front of stage with cocktail service.
