Michael Schenker
At the tender age of fifteen Michael Schenker joined his brother Rudolf’s band, Scorpions, with whom he produced his 1972 debut album Lonesome Crow. Once the British rock act UFO had discovered Schenker’s amazing talent during a joint tour with the Scorpions, they invited the exceptional guitar whiz-kid to team up with them after the tour had finished. His first recording with UFO became an international masterpiece: Phenomenon (1974), featuring the classics ‘Doctor Doctor’ and ‘Rock Bottom’, is still considered one of the most important releases in the history of rock music.
After an eight year tenure with UFO, Schenker began released the first album by his own Michael Schenker Group, a group which continues to this day in various incarnations. Schenker’s biggest hit “Anytime” from the 1989 album Save Yourself was the second album featuring Robin McAuley. The group was renamed the McAuley Schenker Group, retaining the initials MSG, until 1993. McAuley is once again touring with Schenker under the moniker Michael Schenker Group featuring Robin McAauley.

Taz Taylor
Taz Taylor was exposed at a very early age to the golden era of Rock Guitar playing. Michael Schenker in UFO and then in his own band MSG, Gary Moore in his late-70s/early-80s heyday, Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee and of course the early Van Halen albums, all left an indelible mark on the musical psyche of Taz.
