J. Geils and his friends were invited to the TRI studios in San Rafael, CA by Bob Weir (founder of Grateful Dead) to do a live internet broadcast of their show which has sold out 24 straight times in 6 different states in the northeast! J. Geils is a legendary Rock Hall of Fame nominee, fresh off his tour with the J. Geils Band, and is also a producer, writer, sports car restoration expert, and is a rockin’ master of the blues, known for several huge classic hits and a soulful approach to the blues. One of J Geils special friends is Jeff Pitchell, who had a CD (Heavy Hitter/EMI) reach #7 on the Billboard Charts. Jeff Pitchell has shared the stage with B.B. King, Bo Didley, Buddy Guy, Joe Cocker, and now with J Geils. They have now collaborated on a newly released CD “American Girl,” named after a new movie directed by Ocsar nominee James Woods. Woods asked Jeff Pitchell to write these songs for his movie. This nine person show, with J Geils’ rock energy and Pitchell’s deep blues wisdom, will make for one huge memorable night.
